I wanted something simpler, cleaner, but still me. Tell me what you think? And this way I don't have to worry about copying and pasting codes into my journal content. Still have to get commission links and such all set up, but for now I'm pretty happy

I'm pretty excited. is coming over to Northern California this summer and we're going to meet up with down in So Cal. I've known all of these girls for years. YEARS! And all of us met through neopets.com when we weren't even teenagers. Most of us have grown up together. And now we are finally meeting! I swear, if one of you turns out to be an axe murderer I'm going to be pretty pissed off

So yeah. I've been sick as ever for the past 5 or so days. It all peaked yesterday, when I could barely lift my head without getting dizzy, coughing, and all sorts of yuck. Bright lights were painful. The slightest noises were deafening. Not cool. But last night I went through a series of intense shifts in body temperature, which was by far the worst. I'd either wake up freezing cold or sticking to my blankets from sweat. I don't get sick often. In fact, the last time I got sick was about a year ago. When I do get sick, I get REALLY sick. But, the good news is, come morning I felt totally better.

When I told my mom about said temperature change her logic basically flew out her rear.
Mom: "WHAT?! Go to Kaiser! Now!"
Me: *blank stare* "Did you not hear me? I said I felt totally better!"
Mom: "Take vitamin C! Drink water! You could have SWINE FLU!"
Me: "Yes mom. I have swine flu." *woogly fingers in her face* "No seriously. I. Feel. Better." *starts to walk away*
Mom: *shouts after* "SWINE FLUU!!"

lawl.

Anyway. The week has been rather crazy. I don't know how many of you have noticed all this crap going around about "Character Theft Drama" but seriously? I can't say this plainly enough. THE ISSUE WAS RESOLVED. I don't know where everyone got it in their heads that they should post journals about it, spreading it all over DA... OR that I or Whirl were accusing the maker of those adoptables of art theft. We weren't. She came to me asking me if they were too close for my comfort. I said pretty plainly "yeah, they are similar, but I'm not going to bite your head off if you keep them" because I know Dil's look is pretty generic. Nobody was crying over it. Nobody said "ZOMG MY CHARACTER YOU THIEF I AM ORIGINAL BECAUSE I HAVE A CHARACTER THAT IS BLUE AND WHITE WAAAHH". I sure as hell know that there are a lot of characters that look like Dil.
That's as far as my case goes. I don't know if anyone else had a problem with the characters because comments were promptly hidden. But seriously. Enough posting journals about how "stupid it is that people claim copyrights to their characters." It won't get you anywhere and it just makes things worse
